Our drainlayers are certified and registered with the NZ Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board.
DONT RISK HIRING A COWBOY TO DO YOUR DRAINAGE WORK!
In New Zealand you must be a Certified Drainlayer to conduct drainage work. There are many out there who are not Certified Drainlayers and they will try to convince you that they know what they are doing - they don't! Becoming a Certified Drainlayer takes a minimum of four years of training. Cutting corners and quality is not the way to go.
After NZ Drainage has completed your drainage work, you shouldn't expect to see us again about the same issue. Once we fix it, it stays fixed.
For drainlaying and drain repair work, always ask to see the Certified Drainlayer card from the Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayer Board.
about the owners Jayson and murray ness
NZ Drainage is a family owned business. The father and son team of Murray and Jayson Ness have over 45 years of combined drainage experience between them.
Murray was born and raised on the Hibiscus Coast of Auckland and as a young man moved to Kerikeri to farm and practise Drain-laying. His second son Jayson was born in Kerikeri and learnt at a very young age how to operate machinery and diggers.
Jayson and Murray returned to Auckland where Jayson worked on a series of large commercial drainage projects here for the Auckland City Council and for other commercial building sites before moving to Australia where he also worked on large civil drainage projects.
When Jayson returned from Australia they decided to team up and NZ Drainage was born.
With their grass roots back-ground and family values, they decided to make NZ Drainage specifically for Residential Home Owners like themselves.
